Dimitrios Papadogonas is a purpose-driven business leader with extensive experience in marketing and brand building. He has worked for some of the world’s most iconic and loved brands, as well as some of the most successful clean tech startups of the past decade.
Most recently, Dimitrios served as VP of Marketing for SolarEdge, a global leader in solar and clean energy, where he was responsible for all marketing activities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as emerging markets in the Americas. Previous to Solar Edge, Dimitrious was the VP of Marketing at ChargePoint, the operator of the world’s largest network of EV charging stations. There, he developed the go-to-market strategy that saw ChargePoint’s market share more than double to 70%.
At Virgin America, Dimitrios was a part of the leadership team that launched America’s coolest airline, running all marketing launch activities and driving brand and advertising. At Apple, Dimitrios was part of the team that launched Apple retail stores and then oversaw marketing and monetizing the Mac Genius Bar. At Gap, Dimitrios drove brand strategy for Gap brands in the U.S. and Canada.
Dimitrios was born in Holland and grew up in Montreal. He holds a business degree from the University of Alberta and currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
