Caitlin Crommett
Founder, President
Caitlin founded DreamCatchers when she was 15 years old. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 with a dual major in entrepreneurship and film/theatre, Her experiences running DreamCatchers sparked her passion for facilitating greater connection and communication between all generations, in the workplace and in the world. Caitlin has spoken across the country spreading the DreamCatchers mission and sharing strategies for greater generational connection in the workplace, with the hopes of creating a more connected world. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she as serves as president of DreamCatchers Foundation while growing her speaking business internationally.
Kristen Barbarics
Director of Development
Kristen has 20+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector, within the fields of higher education, health and social justice. She has held senior leadership positions at several institutions, including Habitat for Humanity, UCSF Health and Harvard University. She has a passion for helping nonprofits elevate their brand visibility, achieve maximum program impact, build relationships, and expand their capacity to secure transformative philanthropic support.
Katherine Vangaever
Director Of Impact Measurement
Katherine Vangaever is a junior at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, double majoring in International Relations and French with a minor in Economics. She is interested in public policy and creating positive change through the DreamCatchers organization. She has been involved with DreamCatchers for almost five years, running a club in both high school and college. She is excited to be the National Director for Outreach and Development for DreamCatchers, as she wants more people to experience the joy of making someone’s last Dream come true! DreamCatchers is an incredible organization that brings people together of all ages and backgrounds to form a more connected community.
Matthew Rowland
Director Of Communications
Matt Rowland is a student at the University of Iowa studying Economics and Marketing. He has taken on the role of Director of Media and Marketing because of his interest and experience in fundraising and sales. Matt led the Burlington High School chapter of DreamCatchers during his time in high school, taking the club to the top- they raised the most money of any chapter nationwide under his leadership. He looks forward to continuing to grow alongside DreamCatchers as we expand our mission across the country.
Luke Allera
Director of Finance
Luke is a strategy consultant in the field of medical devices and home healthcare services. He began his career in healthcare at a startup that provided in-home diagnostic testing and monitoring for chronic disease patients. In addition to running the day to day operations of the home testing service, he also managed a telehealth clinic for heart disease patients. Throughout his career in healthcare services, Luke’s top priority has always been delivering the highest quality of care to patients. Luke received his Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his Master’s in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson with specializations in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management.
Kent Linton
Chief Financial Officer Emeritus
Kent Linton is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Economics with minors in Finance and Spanish for the Business Professions. He has been actively involved in DreamCatchers since his Junior year of high school in Noblesville, IN where he developed a club in a Community Service class. He wanted to continue with this mission into college, so started his own student organization at UNC where he recruited an executive board of 12 individuals, partnered with a local hospice in Raleigh, NC and granted a number of dreams. Alongside his ambitions to grant 6 dreams this upcoming academic year, he is unbelievably grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve as the CFO of DreamCatchers on a national level. Given that this position aligns with his career aspirations, he is confident that he has the knowledge and drive to leave a lasting legacy in this position and subsequently take DreamCatchers to new heights. With the addition of this new executive team, there is truly nothing that can stop DreamCatchers’ future mission and growth.
