The Arcadia High School club was started by Grace Schlenker after she heard about DreamCatchers at the HOBY Arizona seminar. She and her friend Anna now run the club, and are granting their first Dream in early 2019.

Jenny Truong

The club at Barry Goldwater HS was started by Jenny Truong after she heard about the organization from attending HOBY Arizona. She started the club at her high school and has been working to get started granting Dreams. The club works with Summit Hospice and Hospice of the Valley in the Phoenix area.

Avery Weiss

Avery Weiss is a Junior at Boulder Creek High School from Anthem, Arizona. She enjoys playing competitive club soccer, guitar, and choir. In her free time she likes to volunteer with her high school soccer coach and help teach little kids how to play soccer. In school, Avery’s favorite class is math. She is a member of National Honor Society and takes multiple honors and AP classes. In addition, Avery was chosen as the only student from her school to be sent to a leadership camp over summer called HOBY, Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Organization, where she first learned of DreamCatchers. She then went on to attend WLC, the World Leadership Congress, which is an extension of HOBY. She loves to be able to connect personally with all the people she volunteers with and volunteers to help.

Gabriella Wendell

Gabriella Wendell is a pre-medical major at GCU. She grew up on a ranch as a competitive horseback rider in Sedona, AZ. Now, she enjoys cooking, art, and is passionate about outreach. Gabriella became involved with Dreamcatchers after her experience alongside her late grandfather-Earl Anderson-through hospice.
The other officers of the club include Cheyanne Boaz and Kaila Monahan. Chelsea Empett and Suzanne Currey are alums that still assist the club when they are able.

Ashley Clark is the DreamCatchers club founder at Mountain View High School. She is a Junior this year and plays competitive club soccer. Ashley and her awesome club members are excited to help fulfill dreams of hospice patients this year and make a difference in their community.

President Sage Liu became involved with DreamCatchers her sophomore year at Red Mountain, and acted as treasurer the following year. Now in her senior year, Sage plans to study medicine in the future, and has always been passionate about helping the people around her.
